Sally and I still did some things together but in her heart, Sally was over Dinah.
Sally wanted me there the day her horse came but I had other things to do.
The first full day her horse was there, it broke off part of it's hoof kicking a board in the paddock. Well, that is what you get for going into this with your emotions and not your mind.
I am still in the process of finding someone and leave in a week for Florida. Sally has been kind and giving referrals on Dinah and our instructor Dee.
I am glad that Sally is not leasing Dinah. Dinah needs someone now with more confidence and knowledge. Sally has been great for Dinah and us. I don't know if the friendship will continue after this or not.
In the next post I will talk about how I find leasers and what I look for when meeting them. In another one it will be what leasing a horse is like. I will also have one about actually owning a horse and that is at a boarding facility. I still am learning every day about having a horse and letting people ride my horse for their enjoyment.
